Sex became consumed in this thread, yet I was speaking more generally about our thoughts being sinful. As far as sex is concerned, it matters very little. The actual act of sex is temporary like everything in life. Most things are temporary highs. There is one thing that lasts, that endures...the love we share in our hearts with others. In my view, when we are away from having this occur or we are in direct opposition of allowing this to happen, we are sinning. Sex without love (just using a body) is sin. We are not showing love, but just using someone for our self gratification. Is God pleased when we use another human being? That's my thoughts on this small aspect (sex) of what I was originally saying. ~Once a Boy |
