.....that much of what religious people (including a lot of Christians) proclaim is hard to reconcile with the idea of a loving God....one who has no need for revenge, no need for appeasement, one who isn't out to trick us, or set traps so he can torture us, one who didn't make us one way and then demand we be another....one who'd we want to spend eternity with rather than flee from.
