YES! Our loving boys is in a way a gift! As you said, it forces us to search deeper than the "average" person. This search for "God" (for meaning) is the main reason we are here on this earth! The other reason we are here is to love, ie. to create the only thing that is everlasting. Thus, our passion for boys is also a gift, because through love, we can make a positive impact on a boy's life!
