My boyfriend is a BL. So am I, of course, but nonetheless, many of our experiences probably still apply to your situation. We very much love one another, my partner and I, but both of us have to realize that our relationshio is complex. Putting myself in your shoes, here's what I have to understand about my partner. He's a BL and while he loves me and can enjoy sex with me, when we're in bed, I know he's "settling." He's making love to me but he'd rather be making love to a boy. Sometimes I have to even understand that he's probably fantasizing about somebody else while we're intertwined. But we TALK about this and we accept it - as a loving couple. I suppose that some people can accept and cope with a situation like that while others perhaps can't. One thing I think probably MUST happen if you two are going to have a healthy relationship is real, open, honest sharing. Meaning your boyfriend will need to come to a point where you and he can discuss his attractions. Looks like the initiative might have to come from you. Jim |
