Reality is what is real. Unreality is what isn't real.

I have no problem understanding that the chair I'm sitting on is mostly empty space. I have a basic understanding of chemistry, physics and even (as much as any untrained person can grasp) quantum mechanics. The chair MUST be mostly empty space or all our scientific understanding would be wrong.

That makes me LESS likely to try to believe in fictional stories. Not more.
