Are you suggesting that we are "children of God" from birth? That each and every created being is a Child of God? If so, you are sadly mistaken, we are Gods creation's but we are not all Gods children. When we believe in him & accept him as Lord and Saviour, then and only then are we reconciled with God and given the right to be called "children of God". Yes, our "goodness" is how we were made first however, we are all sinful people, as a result of the fall (Gen.3) we are no longer filled with God's goodness. we have been tainted by sin! And have become Gods enemies! It is only through repentance & salvation that we are re-united with God, as his children. |
