I was prompted by the recent spate of messages implying that gay relationships or those between boys and men are destined to doom and that only "normal" heterosexual relationships can possibly lead to fulfillment. The point was that any relationship based mainly on need can turn into a nightmare while relationships between people who recognize each others limitations can be fulfilling and the source of much grace. It isn't a matter of who we love, but how we love. ---Ford |
