Jer 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. You mention forgiveness, but not repentence, which means to change your direction and go the other way. Without repentence there is no forgiveness, else we again pound in those nails to the perfect hands that shed blood for our sins. You say that you never told anyone they could not be a homosexual and a Christian. Why not? What investment are you protecting? An interesting play on words and images. How we use words to justify our positions. Homosexual....on it's face a misnomer. Man-sexual..a sexual man. What does that say? Nothing. Considering the operational aspects of the sexual organs alone, precludes a man's ability to execute a sexual relationship. If you need a more proper word try homosensual, it's been catching on! If the zone of orgasmic pleasure was located in one's forehead..between his eyes..what would you call that...homomental? No wonder people dance around the issues when they are based on fallacy to begin with. Going down a road that has no end. What purpose does sperm perform in another male body? I challenge you to answer that one. If you think God made mistakes in the creation of the sexual organs, I guess there are plenty of strange gods you could ascribe that to. I don't think He said for this group to "be fruitful and multiply"..and this group over here....uh..."oh you folks just use each other however you like and pleasure yourselves till the cows come home, then have at them as well". Since we are created in God's image, does it not make perfect sense that we are to partake in creation in affirming life. Who are those that choose to not create life nor affirm it's probagation? And since that is the will of God, who is it that gains in confusing the issue and trying to forbid that life creating affirmation? Could it be.....satan? What has obtaining pleasure with anothers body, irrespective of the organs it takes to reach orgasm, have to do with the fundamental purpose of those organs? There are people who get off by committing theft, murder, or watching a burning building they have just set fire to. Ever notice it's never enough? What in God's good name causes people to gain pleasure with an animal? Searching for a mother's love? If we had a world that constantly used different tools to accomplish jobs that the tool was not meant to complete, try going to a mechanic to have a tooth filled. Aren't we blessed with the fact that we can obtain pleasure with the opposite sex...otherwise with many women or men most of us see...we'd never be procreating. Thank God it is a matter of the heart. I cannot find any scripture verse that tells us to love one sex above another...in the "agape" sense. Brotherly love is "phileo" Erotic.."eros" I've had my sexual problems with the same sex, but when I accepted Christ I became a "New creature"..a new man...the old man was crucified. How dare I keep the olds ways..and crucify the Christ again. His salvation may be FREE...but it is not CHEAP. If you think different...then you do not know the same God I know. You want to be angry? Then figure why it is you feel so threatened. The four points of Contention. 1. Dismiss the facts out of hand. Must defend against changing. 2. Humour and ridicule the messenger in hopes the message is of no effect. "Your crazy" "You don't know what your talking about" 3. Anger...the false defenses are cracking as the light of day shines through..but one summons all last vestiges of strength..hoping some false reasoning may yet win the day.
