Yes, our sexual desires are not evil, they are God given, but lets understand that. Those desires are to glorify God, they are to be pure in nature and not seek to satisfy our own (sinful) desires. God has given us a sexual nature (thank God for that) he has created us heterosexual (male and female) he told Adam and Eve to populate the earth (my words again). Have I understood you correctly here, are you saying that you believe that your sexual nature (sexual dersires) are NOT a gift from God but rather a curse? If so, I must disagree with you, if our sexual desires are "kepted in check" if they are "put to death" and if we live by the spirit and not the flesh, then they become one of the most wonderful aspects of human life. Our desires are God given (well, I believe they are)and in there original form, they are pure in nature. They seek to gorify God not satisfy our own needs & wants. |
