| because if we see where the pressure for us to seek boys is coming from, we are better able to provide more appropriate responses than running after boys in response to that pressure. BUT this should be a short term exercise - undoubtedly the question of what God wants us to do MUST be our primary concern; in this sense the disability model helps - there is no point spending the rest of your life grieving over the mistake (yours or another's) that got you to be disabled, but there may be a lesson to be learnt for yourself or others in avoiding suffering the same disability..... |
