Thanks for the reply. My original comment could be easily misunderstood (my fault) so allow me to say first of all that my main point in posing this question is not specifically to determine why I am a boylover.

You really struck on the larger dimension of this question. What I would like to discuss is a comprehensive answer, one that encompasses all the issues you mentioned. I applaud you for having the trust and faith in God that is willing to leave the "why" up to Him. I believe an understanding of the "why" can give us a deeper love and appreciation for the character of God. It can also help us to answer others as to why things are the way they are. My sole intention is to share something that has been a comfort to me. It is up to each one to decide for themselves the scripturalness and value of such concepts.

I would not want to detract in any way from the more important question you stated: "What do you want me to do God?" But I also believe that it is necessary to know God's will in order to do God's will. If our desire is to do his will, He will reveal that will to us. I believe that an understanding of "why" (in the big picture) helps us to know God's will.
