Hi John, like I told "once a boy" this isn't my personal testimony, just something I found on the net & thought it may encourage someone. I struggled with homosexuality for many years, I was a practicing homosexual for over 20 years. Obviously, homosexuality isn't the same as boylove, but I suspect that there are some similarities in that, both the homosexual and boylover struggle with lust. I still have the odd struggle with past temptations, but God has granted me renewed strength to fight these temptations. As I submitt to him, daily and rely on him, he enables me to get through those times of testing. I have found that God is true to his word, and as he says, he will never allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bare, without providing a way of escape. The only problem is sometimes we are so intent on focasing on ourselves & doing it on our own that, we don't see that way of escape. I consider myself to be an "ex-gay" although personally, I hate the label LOL! As far as children go, I have never really had a problem with lust towards them, I relate to kids rather easily and love them freely, as God intended us to do. I find some kids attractive and some times feel "drawn" to them, but in such a way that, I don't step over that line between love & lust. I hope Im making sense LOL! Or perhaps, even contact them, I know that have particular support programs for boylovers. |
