All I mean is that, the two are contradictory. Obviously, if you have accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour then yes, you are a christian. However, God clearly indicates that homosexuality is sinful, he condemns it as being an abomination. Thats not to say that he condemns gays, far from it, but he does condemn sin & homosexuality is sin! I agree totally that, violence against anyone regardless of sexuality, race, culture, religion, creed, class or whatever, is WRONG! Getting back to my statement, I guess what Im saying is that, we are called to be Holy as the Lord is Holy. If we are true believers, then we have become a "new creation in Christ" (2Cor. 5:17). Our old nature has been crucified with Christ! And if we are truelly Children of God, we will not (can not) continue to sin to live in sin (1John 3:9) |
