I've never been a big proponent of coming out as a BL since I think almost all people have a completely distorted view of what it means. And....it seems people in general would much rather maintain their beliefs than change them in any significant way regardless of evidence to the contrary. I think that even the changes that might be made are tentative at best and could be completely undone by any slip-up. But here, you've found someone who knows and appreciates from direct experience the good that BL's can do. Indeed, what a blessing! ---Ford |
