I'm in a situation that makes it easy for me to talk about God with boys every week. However, I find myself reticent to discuss the details here (but not face to face with people I know). Some of this reluctance comes from knowing that all the BL boards are patrolled by those who would like nothing more than to make our lives miserable and remove us from any contact with kids. I don't care to jeapordize the good I'm doing by revealing details that are too specific. Another is that there are some things that are so close and important to me that posting them in public seems somehow inappropriate. While it's quite possible that neither of these concerns is valid, I haven't found a way to overcome them yet. I can tell you this though: the time I spend with kids sharing God's love with them is some of the best time I have in my life. ---Ford |
