You concentrate on the idea of sexual acts as a means of reproduction but seem to ignore others aspects. Almost anyone who has engaged in a sexual act with another person is aware that it can be a lot of fun and it can be a powerful means of communicating acceptance of the other person. Two people do not have to be of different sexes in order for either or both of these purposes to be fulfilled.

While your theology attempts to discredit these purposes, it doesn't dissuade me from what I've learned through direct experience: both the fun aspects and the communication of acceptance aspects are, in themselves, good. There's no doubt they can be misused.....indeed, they often are, but that doesn't discredit them.

As with any actions, the people involved must be respectful of each other. If I considered bungee jumping to be great fun, I sure wouldn't insist that an acrophobic friend join me in the sport. Likewise, depending on another for affirmation he's unable to provide can lead to mutual frustration and disheartening.
