God knows our limits to temptation, yet there are times He allows us to be tempted past our ability to deal with things on our own. Why? I don't think He wants us to "control it," but I believe He wants to show us that we can't control things on our own. Thus, we must lean on God with all issues, all temptations, all sins, because without His hearing our prayer, we would most definitely fall. In the rush of the day, don't we fail in many ways? We fail because we are doing what we want and much anxiety is caused by trying to control others and trying to control the outcomes of the things we are involved in. God grant me the ability to change the things I can Help me to accept the things I can't change And grant me the wisdom to know the difference. Why are we "killing" ourselves trying to control so many things? ~Once a Boy |
