I've very recently been diagnosed as having an obsessive compulsive disorder, also. (just 2 weeks ago) So your reply had special meaning for me. For many years I thought my obsessive traits were just something I had to live with. But after this caused serious problems with my job, I decided to give therapy a try. Nothing to lose, right? After just 2 sessions, I'm very encouraged that I can be helped. My therapist put me on Luvox, saying he's had good results from it. It's too soon for the medication to be having much of an effect yet, but it's given me hope for a happier future. Thanks for being so open.
