Jordan, Just figure out who you are and don't worry about the why. Ask God to help you be the person He wishes you to be and trust that he'll do it. I'm both a homosexual person and a boylover. It's part of my identity and all the worry in the world about it won't help a bit. Indeed, it can only serve to make me anxious over something I have no need to be anxious over. Am I doing God's will for me? Are you doing God's will for you? I don't know. In my own case, I may never know for sure. But I do know I want to and God knows I want to. I can't imagine He'd ignore such a prayer. ---Ford |
