We all go through things in our lives that we must overcome. No one's life is easy. I'm a six figure airline pilot and I still have my problems....money means nothing in this world. It's only through Christ that we find the truth and the way to salvation. I acknowledge and affirm your right to have your own personal relationship with the Lord....full of your own way of belief. But the minute you think you have it all figured out and can now go forth and proclaim the truth....that's when I gotta say that your truth is between you and God....and not you and me. For you see.....I have my own ideas on the truth and they are just as God validated and bible based as yours..... Sorry I don't have more time to carry on our little battle. I, too, work with kids in my spare time. I just found out a 17 year old I'm tight with might be suicidal and I'm trying to decide whether to cancel my vacation to Hawaii and go visit him. Prayers for this young man who is a great kid, but suffers from clinical depression....and for me that I'll be able to help him in some way. |
