The witness of the Holy Spirit... yes, maybe that's why that point in your post made an impression on me. I often wonder where this "thorn" came from so I can better deal with it, or at least overcome the "ouch" part of it. I think you may have answered that for me. I'll ponder this for a few days and examine my thoughts and feelings as I'm stimulated by different images and actions during each day... (if that makes any sense?) I found many parts of your post very encouraging, and the fact that you've experienced so many of these things yourself, to even a greater extreme, and have found hope beyond those things is a great encouragement to me... and I'm sure that many other people picked out different things in your post that spoke to them.
