What I'm getting at is that in the past - though when still OLD by your standard (25-30) - I was had a couple of YFs who were 12 and 14. Over the past decade plus, having largely avoided the age group since then, and having instead enjoyed the company of older teenagers, I now look at that age group and completely fail to understand what I saw in them sexually at all. Which has its advantages(!) and is what I mean by altering my AoA. You mention a friend's experience with ex-gay ministries. It's probably worth mentioning now that the level of fear in some jurisdictions is such that even church ministers are required to tell the authorities if a member of their congregation admits to being attracted to minors. You've not made clear whether you're out as gay or as a BL - certainly both steps are potentially 'interesting' in their consequences, and not to be rushed into. HOWEVER it has been my experience that having people around in real life who know where I'm at and still accept me is a very positive experience. Hope to hear more soon! |
