I had the day off work to play computer games round at a friend's house (being single has its advantages..). He beat me in the first game just in time to pop home to put the turkey in the oven for my friends coming round in the evening, and he beat me at the second so I was nicely home to finish the cooking for their arrival. Perhaps it was a coincidence - but it fits with a lot of little things that seem to happen to me..... |
