Ford, I understand completely. There seem to be two basic conceptions of sexual variation: one is that variations are sick, sinful, evil, etc.; the other is that they are just like variations in race, cognitive abilities, physical characteristics, etc. that make life richer. I tend to subscribe to the latter view, but most people here (and in society) seem to take the former. It's much like the pro-gay/ex-gay split. Can those with the two very different views stay together in community? It's discouraging to those of us who see BL as good to hear so much from those who see it as an affliction. However, we can learn from each other. Plus, those of us who are more "BL-positive" need to be encouraged here by each other. Whatever your decision, I will understand and respect it.
