I like to think deep communication is an essential part of deep friendship, being able to talk about all sorts of things together. But the way you said you'd only been able to talk with your friend a few times, seems to indicate it'd be a bad idea to tell him you're a boylover. Do you really have that degree of trust between the two of you? Think about it from his point of view: you're 14, you have this older friend you like talking to cause he seems to enjoy your company and takes you seriously. Then all of a sudden - and you've only spoken 2 or 3 times - he tells you "I'm a paedophile, will you be my friend?" How would you feel? Let yourself enjoy each other's companies, but don't try to pressure him into understanding things he may not want to think about. Just be his friend. Fod |
