I am writing this with pencil and paper and I am going to send it to my brother and friend, Andy, to post here in CBLF. I trust him like I trust God. He is my brother and friend, just as you are too! We really do need each other, friends, we really do. God has made us a part of His family and a part of the lives of one another!

I must apologize for my own behavior. I am an alcoholic and when I drink I am a terrible example. I know this and it just tears me up inside, in my heart. I truly love you folks and my family here as well and I have failed both you and them. I have asked God for His forgiveness, my family for theirs, and I also ask for yours.

Our Father is always forgiving and His love will never, ever leave us. He will never forsake us, either. I want you all to know that even though I am in jail I still feel His mighty love (the cards and letters I have been receiving from different brothers here have been so helpful!!!) and I am continually filled with the Holy Spirit to be able to share His love and Word here. I am a BL and if that were to become known among the inmates here I would certainly be in trouble, however, I am also a child of God and have a commitment to be His ambassador.

Friends, we should be committed to Christ, to do His work. He is faithful to provide the means to do it, we need to be faithful to make the right choice to pick up our cross and follow Him. I'm finding out now that it can be painful sometimes, but I'm also finding out how much He will strengthen and help us to do it. The Holy Spirit will give you the power you need to face anything!

I am keeping all of you in prayer. I really appreciate all of your prayers, also. God loves you and so do I! I'm so grateful to have brothers like you, grateful to God! God Bless everyone!
