Lust is a word that belongs in not the last century, but the century before that. ...and the century before that, and the century before that, and the century before that... Why as a matter of fact, someone had the nerve to place that word in the mouth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Obviously the work of those nasty evangelical revisionists, although I'm not quite sure how they managed to tamper with 1st century documents. In one sense, I quite agree with you: lust does not "belong" in any century. Sadly, most human beings past and present have been quite content to allow it to dwell within our hearts. Some recognize it as an interloper, however familiar it may be, and attempt to root it out. Dirk
