Suppose, for example, it were known in my church that I was sexually attracted to boys. From that point on any contact I had with them...a hug, a touch, a warm smile would be seen as a sexual contact. And, I'd agree! There is indeed a kind of sexual gratification in these contacts. And, it's wonderful. I think the notion that only genital contact is sexual is simply wrong. One of the statements in the document I do agree with is that God created us as sexual beings. I'd go further and say that it's an integral and inseparable part of us. ---Ford |
