Admittedly, I'm just not getting it. Here's another attempt. You'd like others to identify us as just another kind of sinner. If that's it then I can agree. But.....while I'm more than willing to identify myself as a sinner and hence with murderers and with rapists since they are also sinners, the necessary step seems to me to be to convince the ordinary person that they're just as related to murderers and rapists and, indeed, to us as they are to anyone else.
