I'm glad for the second coming (well at lest the third) of CBLF, I really missed it durring its down time. I have been spending lots of time over at open hands durring this period. Let me give you a bit of an update on what has been happening with me thes past few months. On May 9th, I got the supervised part of the visitation stuff dropped. I now have the "standard order of visitation", ie every other weekend and wednesdays for dinner. I wish it were more, but this is much better than the nothing I had just before the board went down. I have been doing everything in my power to make the most of the time I have with the kids (although I have probably been way to easy on them and am spoiling them rotten, but its very hard to discipline them when you want to savor every minute you have with them). i just closed on the sale of the house this AM, so I have that financial monkey off my back. My wife did try to make things as difficult as possible for the move out. she refused to talk to me about the logistics, and basically I had to come over and pick up the scraps of what was left. Much of the stuff she did leave was stuff that she knew i had no use for, like a king size water bed (I am living in a 2nd floor apartment, and there is no way a kig size bed would fit in). But its only stuff. I think the salvation army is going to get quite the haul. In general my life is better now than it was the last time I was here, and I am very thankful for that. Anyways it is good to have this place back on line. |
