Thank you for your kind words!

The bottom line for me is that the opposite of sexual sin is not to be sexless, but to learn how to integrate sexual feelings with love. When one understands that sex was created to express love, self-control becomes easy because then you want to really love someone first before you think about them in a sexual way. Erotic love that is pure and blameless is SO MUCH MORE satisfying than lust, than it becomes a no-brainer to stop lusting. But the good news is that you don't have to give up having sexual feelings; it isn't really right to try to pretend that God did not intend for us to have them. Erotic love that is pure does not become self-centered or destructive of relationships, as long as we always remember to rely on the Lord for strength and guidance.

Of course, I suppose God has a time and a plan for each person who struggles with lust to learn and grow. I could not get past my own lust until I was ready and willing to submit to God's will on the matter. I did not and could not understand the difference between lust and erotic love until I experienced the change that God made in me, and then it became clear.
