Hi D -
The answer to all of your above questions is yes. I cannot go before God each morning, ignoring the fact that at some point during the day my eyes will begin lusting after young boys. Not that there is anything in the bible that says that lusting after boys is any worse than lusting after women, but obviously a lust for young boys cannot be redirected into a long standing monogamous relationship (ie - marriage) with a young boy. I cannot be open about my life and ask others to be open about their lives:

James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

....when I myself am hiding a secret about my own life. No, there is nothing in the bible about confessing to a preist (or minister or rabbi). The bible tells us to confess to EACH OTHER, which is what we do in my church and what I am happy to do with all of you. In many ways, it is ONLY the BL community that knows my true sins. Thank God for all of you, that I CAN be open. But it certainly does hurt my ability to minister to others who are not part of the cyberworld.

We are ALL sinful. Yes, I believe that masterbation is sinful. I don't think that this is good or bad, for all men sin. The question is, will we continue sinning without trying to repent? If we do, aren't we ignoring Jesus?

You are not alone.
