I can definitely relate to your story. I have also been a Sunday School teacher, working mostly with 4th thru 6th grade kids. Through my work with boys, I've also encountered some tempting moments and acted out on them a few times (e.g. giving back and foot massages, and other things similar to that). I've also had my low moments (no thanks to all that's available on the Internet), but since I've found this board and have made friends with those on it, I've been able to handle these feelings much better. It's good to have others to talk with. In this way, the Internet is good. I've never had the chance (except on two small occasions) to discuss these things with personal friends. It's important to be accountable to someone -- so I guess this place is where I go to stay accountable, and to be an encouragement to others. I hope you stick around and talk with us some more. This is a good place to be. Also, stay in the Word and in prayer. Be strong and have courage. :) Splash |
