Thanks for contributing to this! I read once something about attitudes to boylove being different in the medieval church from the way they are now. Spiritual mentoring of a younger male including affection, etc. a bit like Plato's idealised non-sexual boylove. Must read more.

The word coming out of this discussion most often seems to be 'spectrum'. Let's never forget it. Let's never label ourselves as an exclusive group.
