What are you looking for? You've already found what you're seeking. To lay and admire your YoungFriend and enjoy his beauty is just one step short of laying in God's presence as well by thanking Him for the love and beauty you're experiencing. Many people have told me that they feel closest to God, closest to His peace, out in the woods all alone. There they can just be free and enjoy His work in the nature around them. There's a legitimate and deep rooted source of peace and praise that can be found there alone. But God did not create us to be creatures of self support, nor even to live independantly with just Him. In the same way we can spend time with God in nature, we can also spend that same time through our YoungFriends. That same peace and sense of awe many find staring into the sky or walking along a deserted path I find starting into the eyes of those I love and walking along the path of their life. To just drink in what God has created in them and give praise back to the Lord for what He's done. Laying in silence with them, listening to their breathing, breathing a silent prayer back to Jesus from my heart. You want to hold onto every second of His love? You want to bask in His light? Look at the YoungFriend or other loved one in your life! Where do you think their love comes from? No pure love can come anywhere but from God. It's His love you are receving and His love you are giving. Don't let doubt and confusion convince you you're not where you should be already! Don't you remember His words? You sound so much like those who will be on His right hand. "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we spend time with you just loving you, or listening to you in peace?" Christ's reply to you is, "I tell you the truth, whatever you've done for those I placed in your life, for the children of mine I gave you a heart for, you did it with me." - Highly paraphrased from Matthew 25 Every moment you spend in helping your YoungFriends grow into the people that God would call them to be you're not only building your relationship with them, but with Christ Himself. To laugh and to cry, to struggle and relax, to live life to the fullest extent in love and peace with those around you- that is what it is to truly stare into the eyes of the Creator of the Universe and say "Thank you, I love you so so much." Be at peace my friend, you've already found what you've been looking for. Enjoy your time spent in God's presence with your YoungFriend, He's already there if you're looking.
