I don't know how to respond just yet, because the emotions that your poem brings up are all jumbled together. As an abused boy, and a loved boy, and a boylover, I can say your words are well placed.

I would like to hear more from !hsalpS - or from Splash! - I enjoy reading you both.

You risk yourself, that he might gain,
To love him deeply, and not refrain;
Yet, in the end when you look at his life,
Is it filled with love, or riddled with strife?
