Sorry, I tend to post on BC, but I just noticed this. There are a number of words in (Classical) Greek for love. There are four which are seen as the main ones. Three you have identified correctly, but "agape" tends to be Christian love, rather than God's love. It is a brotherly concern and affection. It is the last "love" in Greek, "storge", which is the love of God, and that is the natural affection between a parent and child. Love Zeus :-) |
