| I've had many YFs during the last 10 years; though, not many recently. I've been involved in youth ministry (not teens as much as younger kids), and have been thinking about doing it again. I work with kids almost on a daily basis (they seem to be drawn to me in fact), and I will be working with them even more in the near future with a new job assignment coming up. (Don't ask, I won't tell) My main YF right now is someone in my family and he's doing great, spiritually. I see or talk with him at least once a week. I'm still heartbroken over my last main YF relationship (which I described in great detail exactly a year ago today in this forum) so it's been kind of hard for me to start good friendships with boys again. I try to be very careful about my expectations now and what I really think should be accomplished through the friendship. |
