| I have been in similar situations and what I always found that worked best is to allow my actions to demonstrate and model Christ. With vulnerable and often confused or hurt children they respond best to warmth, compassion, unconditional love and respect. In many ways a comforting arm around the shoulders of a sad child says more to him about the love of Christ than reading a Bible passage. So I say, "do the Word." Bless you for helping the little ones. |
