I've been meaning to get back to you, but got busy. This is how I set the pastor up: I grabbed his 14yo son and primed him to ask his dad "But Dad, do you really appreciate the difference between theotokos and filioque?" The boy delivered the message with great aplomb ;) He remembered what the filioque clause was once I reminded him of it, even corrected my pronounciation ([filioker], not [filioke], apparently).
