My reading of his statement would include the corollary: God did not sanction the political "rights" for which the Christian Right is lobbying.

I think Cat Daddy said that "rights", in and of themselves, are a man-made invention, not spiritually sanctioned by God himself.

It isn't clear to me from that statement exactly what Cat Daddy's position is on the equality of gay people.
