... doesn't mean it can't happen. A landlord doesn't have to have it on an application. If he sees two men applying for an apartment together, he just doesn't have to rent to them. There's plenty of case law upholding a landlord's right to NOT rent to a couple solely because they are gay. It happens a lot. It's happened to people I know personally. And there's no legal recourse. Why do I focus on my sexual orientation? Because Jesus freaks like you FORCE me to.
