For those watching the anti-gay Reverend Fred Phelps, see BoyChat post Phelps fizzled, reaction: 4x usual church attendance.

In a nutshell, Phelps announced he was going to picket a local gay-affirming church in Austin, TX, today. Word quickly spread in the gay and lesbian community and I read about it in yesterday's paper.

People of many faiths as well as maybe some of no faith came to today's worship service. Attendence was up to 4X normal.

The weather prediction for today was heavy rains. Fred didn't show. The service was on love and hate. The thesis was "God is Love." You should have been there. Maybe some of you were.
