I never did understand myself why Christians want to legislate non-believers into pretending to be good little Christian boys and girls. The Bible has a bloody lot to say about the whole point of our faith being something welling up from inside one's heart, not a question of mindlessly doing this or refraining from that. So I can't figure out why some of us Christians want everyone else to put on the appearance of "godly behaviour", when there's no faith involved. I might ask them for you, see if anyone at church can answer the question.
