We can only look and feel shocked. I'm not one who finds it easy to pray about big events, but to think of the number of families in shock tonight I want to try. Maybe I'll start by imagining one possible family situation and praying for them. I'm also thinking about a boy I used to know here who's visiting the US on his own at the moment. This isn't the time to even begin thinking about the reasons for or implications of today, and yet our politicians have to force themselves to do so. So let's pray for them as well. Jules |
