Why do I want to hate?

It is so easy to give into the anger and let it turn into hate. I have to pray for the "bad guys" as an antidote to the poison of hate, or I will become that "which I hate" - that is, someone who knows how to hate. Please pray for me that I will not give in to "the dark side." Ever. The risk is low this time around, but with each senseless event, from the Iran Hostage crisis to the Kuwaiti invasion to Oklahoma City (thank goodness that was domestic) to this week, it gets harder and harder to not just let raw emotion control my life.
