Heart Broken

My YF (JS) and I haven't seen each other for a while. We are camp friends. He's 11 and EVERYTHING that CAN happen to an 11 year old has happened to this poor boy. JS is the kid who when I saw him, I thought (I WANT HIM IN MY CABIN!) Sadly, he never ended up with me. But that's ok. We still got to know each other quite well and after camp was over I went to see him at home and meet the family. The family is great however, every time I talk or see him, he's sad. So unbelievably sad. The only time I've seen him smile is at camp. He reminds me of ME when I was his age. Life treats him like crap but he just goes through it and tries to get through. He gets through, but everything hits him hard. And from talking to him, he seems very numb to emotions. I made a date to go see him. But he lives an hour and a half away. So I can't just up and see him whenever I want. But anyway, when I talked to him on the phone yesterday, my heart broke again. Just like every other time I've talked to him. Please pray for him. I do not want to say too much about his life because of confidentiality. But please... my dear dear friends, he's hurting like no boy should ever hurt. So many things have happened to him. He can't just be a boy. And we all know how important that is. I had a dream last night. He was in it. We were walking at camp. And all of a sudden, I look over and he's got that sad face on. He never had that face on at camp. Only when I saw him at home. So I pick him up and carry him for a second (because I'm so big I do that to all the kids). And I make it so he is facing me. And I say, "What can I do for you?" He asks, "What do you mean?" I say, "All I want is to see you happy." And that horrible sad face breaks and he gives me the pleasent JS smile that I so dearly love to see. Then I woke up. :::sigh::: I just want to see (or even hear him) happy. Pray for us my friends.
