I can't say that I've ever had to face that situation unambiguously. My mom knew that I was 'gay' after I got outed at school as a teenager, and we had a very unhelpful conversation about it at the time. But it didn't really go anywhere. That was long ago - and the only time we've ever touched it since was when she showed me some stuff in her jewelry box and asked whether she should cary on keeping it to give to my possible future bride; I sort of said no, and nothing further came of the conversation.

The ideal would be to get her to the point of realising that there is a total difference between orientation and action - and that orientation isn't under your control. But how you go about getting there I don't know; it's an argument that needs a lot of careful presentation and needs to be built onto what she really believes - which is not necessarily what she actually says! Not trivial....

Let us know how you go on.
