I wrote my previous response before I read this post. I think whether or not *all the chips are on the table* depends on exactly what this guy told your brother. If he just told him that you met and had a frienship, I don't see a problem. This may or may not make your family suspicious. If they are already thinking along those lines, anything will make them suspicious. If they are being objective, I doubt they will read anything into your frienship with this *kid*. (again, depending on what he told your brother) I have one suggestion. Don't do or say anything for a few days or maybe even a week or better. Let things simmer. If asked anything, try to deflect the questions. You actions, whatever they are, shouldn't be done in haste when you are in emotional turmoil. Let things cool down in your mind and re-evaluate the situation. Then you can decide on the best course of action with a level head. Dakota |
