kiowas, Hey, I'm new here, and I read your post earlier, and have been listening to your story. Hey you know what? Don't worry that your mom has this against gays, because that's what God has chosen for her. Just remember that all is part of his perfect plan. And regardless of the fact of what your mother would think if she knew, God knows. As long as you are comfortable with whatever you do because it is right in God's eyes, that is all that matters. I know the struggle to conform to society is hard too, I am struggling with the same thing, but our top priority should always be to look to him for support, guidance, and love. Don't let this get you down. Don't look upon yourself with guilt or shame unless you KNOW that God would not be pleased. Also, try not to have any negative feelings towards your mom or anyone for that matter, but remember that God has put that in their hearts for a reason, and as long as you have accepted Jesus into your heart, you have nothing to worry about.
